Introducing Luvvie

Luvvie

Luvvie (TM)

When I was growing up, I couldn’t go into a store or marketplace offering baby food that didn’t have the Gerber Baby on it.  I wondered why we, as Africans, didn’t have our own line of baby products with a child on the logo that looked like us. After much contemplation, we decided to create our own line of organic Baby Soap and Bum Balm that would represent us as a global nation.

This beautiful, Afrikan baby picture was commissioned by the very talented artist, Moni Rickert.

Introducing Luvvie…

Luvvie Baby soap

Luvvie Baby soap2

An organic baby soap made with all natural ingredients from my farm. Hand cut and sliced, it is delicately scented with the sweet scent of fresh chamomile and lavender. The Luvvie Bum Balm is 100% vegan and whipped with raw Shea Butter and vegetable oils. We used natural anti-bacterial peppermint from my garden to help heal and soothe diaper rash.

I’d like to thank my very devoted and loyal customers who have already placed orders and continue to support Black businesses worldwide. The process of Ujamaa (cooperative economics) is an important one if we wish to liberate ourselves and gain sovereignty. By supporting our worldwide enterprises, we build stronger communities and pride as a people.

Keep the wealth within our communities and shop Black every day.

P.S. I’ve gotten a few inquiries regarding worldwide shipping. Yes, we do ship out of state. Please contact me for more information on international shipping prices.

Coming up next…

I asked a very talented jewelry maker from Kilimanjaro to make me a “statement” piece and I’m awaiting delivery…

Stay tuned.

Fond Farewell

*sigh*

So much to say… It’s with bittersweet joy that I inform you, my beautiful African family, that I have decided to focus entirely on our quiet and simple lifestyle and growing with the Spirit. This shall be my last post. I started my blog as a way for me to understand my own mental illness in this oppressive system. I needed an outlet that would provide me with the freedom to cry, scream and write raw, honest truth about my perceived helplessness in this world. I never knew that it would turn into a cyber-family where we would reveal things about ourselves even we never knew existed. God told me to write. And write I did.

The more I wrote my deepest feelings of raw anger, hurtful betrayal and the shameful thoughts of vengeance, I learned, almost by happenstance, that anger is a wasted emotion in the art of war. It weakens the mind and the body. That’s why our enemies have always attacked us in the most vile, anger-inducing ways. When you’re focused on the melanin-pumping emotion called anger and not on how to defeat your captor, the enemy is happy, satisfied and well fed. I finally understand that now. When God told me to write about survival, “dropping out of the system”, obesity, re-learning the miracle of herbs, loving each other and protecting our children, I simply did as instructed. I hope that I did not disappoint you…or Her for that matter. As you read my earlier posts, you’ll see a stark difference in my writing and my level of emotion. I hope that means that I’ve grown somewhat. I hope the Creator is, at the very least, satisfied with my menial efforts. I hope that each and every single one of you can say that you’ve grown with me on this journey of Spiritual awakening.

There’s a few things I shall leave you with that I hope you ponder someday:

Please remember that evil will always tempt you to self-destruct. The stronger you are, the greater the temptation. And when they cannot kill you themselves, due to your strength, they coax you to kill yourself.

Please remember who you are and why God created you first.

Never forget who the enemy of Man really is and why he needs to keep you in your slumber.

Know that Man and Mankind are two completely different entities.

Remember that no one spends time, energy and money trying to destroy a people they deem inferior. It is usually the opposite that causes this cowardly reaction.

Remember to treat each other with love and respect.

Everyone makes mistakes. The trick is learning from them.

Remember that we are an intentionally broken race.

Research the reason why it was intentional and you’ll have a keener insight to your enemy’s fear.

Please get as dark as you can in preparation for the coming Spiritual war. Coconut oil will aid you in this process. For those of you that are awake, you’ll understand why “darkness matters.”

Black men, please protect us. We need you. We cannot protect ourselves.

Black women, please love your black man. He needs it now more than ever.

Black men and women, please raise your black children. They are you 20 years from now.

Know that nothing happens in this universe by coincidence.

Understand…for every ONE conscious black person you’ll meet, there’s 100 waiting to rip you in half.

Understand…not all of us will make it. And that’s perfectly o.k. so please…Accept it.

On a much more somber note…In dealing with Drakkor… They are all around us. They’ve been here on earth for quite some time. The whites at the top of the current Ponzi Scheme called Fiat Money, take orders from them. They all want the same thing. Your asili. Each emotion that you give a Spiritual Vampire depletes you of your asili…which is exactly what it wants. It sucks you dry and drains you of your ability to vibrate at a higher level. That is why food and sex is their primary weapon. Tel-lie-vision and music come in as a close second.

Power doesn’t come from money, material objects, good looks or making and enforcing (man’s) laws. Power comes from your ability to be sovereign. How do you become a sovereign nation? By “knowing oneself.” Evil feeds on fear. Literally. The more you fear an entity , the stronger the entity grows. I finally understand that now. I hope one day soon, for some of you, this will make sense. For others, you know who you are, you’ve known this long before I finally caught up. Thank you for educating me. For some you, just a small few, I’ll be seeing you in this life or the other as we battle this demonic force together side by side. And something tells me we’ll be victorious.

2014 will bring forth many changes, especially around the Spring equinox. Get ready…

For the rest of you, you know who you are, I’m sorry…perhaps next time…when you’re ready.

Blessings and best of luck to you:

Truthbetold

P.S. I will not shut the blog down. That way, you can continue to read and grow as you wish…please know that control of the internet is the next phase of The Draco Regime, so print out whatever articles you deem necessary. I will not allow any more comments. This will dissuade trolls and future in-fighting amongst those of us that are not yet awakened. ******************************************************************************************************

To my white readers and lurkers:

I can honestly say, with NO venom, with no hate, that I’ve never, ever, not once, met one white person, in my entire life, that was different from the rest. There is something missing within you. It is that very thing that causes you to despise us. I never knew what that was til now:

Huemanity.

You’ve had your chance to do the right thing many, many times. Your failure comes from the lack of the God Principle called melanin. As a genetic abnormality, your aggression and arrogance and apathy towards us will be your karma. You are a race of people that is known, universally, to cut off your own nose to spite your face. I think Katrina is more than proof of this statement. I’m actually torn between feeling happy for your demise, which will be soon, and feeling sad for you for you are a mere pawn in a very sophisticated Spiritual game.

You are being used to fulfill an agenda and you fell for it hook, line and sinker. That is perhaps why you were chosen. You are destined by your own design to become extinct. The agony you and your children will experience will make the Maafa seem trivial. Some, and I do mean some of you, as in a very small few, will understand what I am saying and try to learn and grow and make amends. The Creator will decide your fate as He/She seems fit. For the overwhelming majority of you…

The awakening you will soon experience will be like a shock of cold water splashed against your face. The very country that you love and hold dear, the same country that you fought and bled for, the same country that you sent your sons and daughters to war for, is about to show you how it really feels about you. You will not handle it well and your sanity will be the first to go. As you wonder why “this is happening”, know that “this” is what blacks have been speaking of for 500 years.

May God have mercy on your souls.

I need to step away from this blog for awhile.

I’ve always been looking for a way to masquerade in blackface, and this gives me the perfect reason! This is going to be awesome!

  • Good fun costume but will require some time to inflate!

October 16, 2012, by Kaveh Damestani

Very impressed as always with the speedy delivery and quality of the costume. Only drawback is the small fan that is included to inflate the costume! Will take a good amount of time to fill with air! Ended up using Hairdryer to speed it up!

There are no words to describe the white man’s obsession with our genitalia. Where does it come from? Please keep in mind the first rule of business:
The creation and continuous SALE of an item can only be made possible by the demand of the customers. Demand decreases, sale and item disappear.
Any thoughts to this? I’m almost speechless.
Almost.

Introducing USU: A Graphic Novel by Jay Artarius

USUcoverpage Looks intriguing, doesn’t it? It’s about time we had a black comic book/ graphic novel author! I remember reading X-Men as a child and being engrossed with the true origin of Wolverine and Magneto. I wondered where Storm really came from and why Mystique and Beast both had blue coverings. Yes…I was a nerd. I never thought of us, Africans, actually making a comic book that depicted heroes and sheroes who looked like we did! We must support ALL of the family’s endevours at independence! Please support Jay Artarius and his efforts at bringing the excitement of childhood fantasy, with a black twist, to life. Follow him at http://ususeries.wordpress.com and follow him on twitter!

The Fabulous Al Green

Introducing Marcus Kwame Anderson: Painter

Peter Tosh Art

Sun Daughter

I was looking for some African Art and stumbled upon Marcus’ website. After looking into the eyes of this sweet angel, I wanted to know who the painter was. I contacted him and was delighted that he responded.

Makes me wanna holla

It’s very rare that an artist makes you feel life pulsating through the screen. This painting, “Makes me Wanna Holler”, speaks to me on more ways than one. I questioned him on his inspiration:

I feel like creating art wasn’t necessarily a choice. I’ve been compelled to create art of one kind or another since I was very young. I have a lot of ideas and I’ve always been drawn to creating. I find art to be therapeutic. I’ve been making art since I could pick up a crayon. I colored and drew like most children, but I never stopped. In grade school I wrote and illustrated stories, in middle and high school I created comics and paintings. Now I teach art, paint, draw, make comics and a do freelance work.

I’ve always been inspired by artists who used their creative voice to speak on issues. I draw a lot of inspiration from music. Bob Marley, Nina Simone, and Peter Tosh are just a few of the musicians that inspired me. The way that they incorporated social commentary into their work showed me that I could make art and say something at the same time. I’ve been inspired by many visual artists. Honestly, I find inspiration everywhere: in people that I meet, nature, the city, my children, and the wealth and beauty of the African diaspora. Inspiration is everywhere if you’re paying attention.   Marcus K. Anderson

If that doesn’t make you swoon, nothing will. Please support this very talented artist by spreading the word about his shops:

Introducing NZinga: Black is Beautiful Art and T-Shirts

C.H.U.B.B.

http://www.infiniteeart.com/

You know, just when I think we can’t get more creative, I’m proven wrong. NZinga has given the black family inspiration that you can wear. When I contacted her about why she chose this particular brand of black ownership, she gave me an earful:

I think God has always uplifted me, it was me who got in my own way…but that’s true for a lot of us I think. I think personally for black people, in business and in life in general, we should focus more on creating more of what we say we want: black love, unity, support, fellowship, respect, etc…be what we say we want more of in the world and not focus wasted energy on what we don’t want or what disturbs or bothers us. We cannot control other people or their karma; but we can totally control ours. So that’s my opinion.
I want more black love and uplifting and positive imagery and so I want to live that and be an example of that. Nothing is by chance, accident or happen stance. Coalesce with those of like mind and be assured we will all get to where we need to be. Since I believe we all as God spirits chose to come here to learn and grow; nobody is suffering for naught.

*swoons*

We should ALL aspire to be like this beautiful, young woman. When I saw this picture:

“He’s got the whole world in his hands”

I knew I’d have to get it. Black Family, ownership is the key to freedom. Ownership is the answer to our situation. Ownership will put us on the right track for black salvation. We are the most creative beings on earth! That’s why everyone takes from us. Please support black-owned businesses and keep the dollar circulating 10, 15, 20 times!!! When you buy black and black only, the money NEVER leaves your community. We all win.

Please support this shop and all other shops I’ve listed on my blog.

Black Quotations

Dear Family,

I am writing this post to ask you for a favour.

Please contemplate an original saying or thought.

It must be:

Black oriented

Must appeal to our struggles

Must appeal to our heritage/tribe/clan

Must be have real meaning with no “catchy” phrases

Can be religious or Spiritual or Shamanistic

It cannot be:

From MLK.

From Malcolm X.

From Amos.

From Clarke.

From Welsing.

From Fuller.

Or any other black scholar.

It must be yours and your alone.

Why am I asking for this?

You’ll see…

I hope you’ll participate in this exercise. You’re going to love the results when I’m done.

Confessions of a White Racist: Chronicle Four

“Can I ask you something?”

I looked up into the eyes of my patient. “Yes?”

“Why do you people twist your hair into ropes?”

****rubs temples****

As I contemplated telling my rich, white patient to go fuck herself, I wondered for the umpteenth time why EVERYONE has a fascination with our hair. The question brought me back to my childhood in Ameriklan where white children would ask to touch my hair then call me a Nappy-headed nigger. The Creator gave us spiral waves, in the exact form of hue-man DNA, as a Spiritual antenna to connect with the universe in all Her glory. Our hair, in its natural state, absorbs energies from Nature, animals, the soil and each other. Unfortunately, it also absorbs Demonic forces. These energies are then transmitted to our Chakras:

African Spirit or “Ba”

Which is why you often times “pick up on someone’s vibe.” It is very real and is currently being used to oppress us. That’s why, Black Family, I seldom go out without my head scarf.

Our hair, which is the MOST diversified texture on earth, can be shaped and styled to our liking and in many cultures throughout the diaspora, can represent ceremonial traditions, marriage or even Princedom. These are traits that many emulate and try to pass off as their own invention:

Wannabe

Dreadlocks, also called Natty Dread, locks or ras, are simply left to coil and tangle on their own without the use of combing. As old as time, Moses, Samson and Jesus himself were said to have dreadlocks. The Ras Tafari movement made this style synonymous with their deep connection to God, Nature and reggae music. Today, blacks sport many styles of hair:

Natural Woman

As for my patient, I thought about my mortgage before I replied, “To be one with the Creator.”

She said nothing.

Introducing Jason Green: Soulful Photographer

Every once in awhile, a photograph catches your eye, takes your breath away and your heart skips a beat. Jason’s pictures does that for me. I’ve had the extreme pleasure of meeting this young, talented, father and his lovely Nubian wife purely by chance. Kindred spirits, we conversed easily about the lack of black owned businesses. After showing me pictures of his work, I was hooked. Mr. Jason Green has been a photographer for over 10 years. Self-taught, his passion was ignited and he proudly open his own studio last year. Jason sees the world through his lens and he’s invited the black family to peek into his creative mind:

Like what you see?

In my attempt to combat white supremacy, I shall do the exact opposite of what we’ve been taught: Promote black businesses, artists, writers and entrepreneurs.

I’ve been following this very talented young woman from my former home state of New Jersey and I feel she deserves to be the first person I promote. Jaszmine Hawkins, with a wave of her brush and marker, has given the black community a glimpse into her soul. Focusing on our most sought after asset, Our Lips, she creates eye-popping, colourful expressions of Black Beauty. Her artwork graces the walls of dozens of black homes in the New York and New Jersey area.

My personal favourite, The Dreadlock Man:

Dreams of My Father

Digging through my history has been challenging to say the least. I’ve come across so many troubling essays, articles and hidden-from-sight facts that I felt emotionally sick. But through it all, perhaps throughout my entire life, I’ve felt a deep connection to one person even when I never knew his name.

Nat Turner.

Is it possible to feel something before you know it exists?

I think so.

I’ve felt Nat Turner’s spirit with me my entire life. A burning need that defies articulation has been building in me since the day I heard the word “Nigger.” I feel him in the sun. I feel him in the power of lightning. And I feel his presence when I’m at work, giving me guidance as I stare ever so insolently into the blue-tinged, gelatinous, empty orifice of my enemies.

Nat Turner was born on October 2, 1800, in Southampton County, Virginia. While still a young child, Nat was overheard describing events that had happened before he was born. This, along with his keen intelligence, and other signs marked him in the eyes of his people as a prophet “intended for some great purpose.”

In 1821, Turner ran away from his overseer, returning after thirty days because of a vision in which the Spirit had told him to “return to the service of my earthly master.” The next year, following the death of his master, Samuel Turner, Nat was sold to Thomas Moore. Three years later, Nat Turner had another vision. He saw lights in the sky and prayed to find out what they meant. Then “… while laboring in the field, I discovered drops of blood on the corn, as though it were dew from heaven, and I communicated it to many, both white and black, in the neighborhood; and then I found on the leaves in the woods hieroglyphic characters and numbers, with the forms of men in different attitudes, portrayed in blood, and representing the figures I had seen before in the heavens.”

On May 12, 1828, Turner had his third vision: “I heard a loud noise in the heavens, and the Spirit instantly appeared to me and said the Serpent was loosened, and Christ had laid down the yoke he had borne for the sins of men, and that I should take it on and fight against the Serpent, for the time was fast approaching when the first should be last and the last should be first… And by signs in the heavens that it would make known to me when I should commence the great work, and until the first sign appeared I should conceal it from the knowledge of men; and on the appearance of the sign… I should arise and prepare myself and slay my enemies with their own weapons.”

Then, in February, 1831, there was an eclipse of the sun. Turner took this to be the sign he had been promised and confided his plan to the four men he trusted the most, Henry, Hark, Nelson, and Sam. They decided to hold the insurrection on the 4th of July and began planning a strategy. However, they had to postpone action because Turner became ill.

On August 13, there was an atmospheric disturbance in which the sun appeared bluish-green. This was the final sign, and a week later, on August 21, Turner and six of his men met in the woods to eat a dinner and make their plans. At 2:00 that morning, they set out to the Travis household, where they killed the entire family as they lay sleeping. They continued on, from house to house, killing all of the white people they encountered. Turner’s force eventually consisted of more than 40 slaves, most on horseback.

By about mid-day on August 22, Turner decided to march toward Jerusalem, the closest town. By then word of the rebellion had gotten out to the whites; confronted by a group of militia, the rebels scattered, and Turner’s force became disorganized. After spending the night near some slave cabins, Turner and his men attempted to attack another house, but were repulsed. Several of the rebels were captured. The remaining force then met the state and federal troops in final skirmish, in which one slave was killed and many escaped, including Turner. In the end, the rebels had stabbed, shot and clubbed at least 55 white people to death.

Nat Turner hid in several different places near the Travis farm, but on October 30 was discovered and captured. His “Confession,” dictated to physician Thomas R. Gray, was taken while he was imprisoned in the County Jail. On November 5, Nat Turner was tried in the Southampton County Court and sentenced to execution. He was hanged, and then skinned, on November 11.  —- {From African-Americans on Nat Turner}

Nat Turner, my forefather, will be my guiding Spiritual force when the universe makes its long-awaited shift and Africans are finally awakened to their rightful place on Earth.
